Grapes

Ireland is too cold to grow grape. Keelings import grape from warmer regions all over the world, particularly Western Europe, the Balkans, California, Australia, South Africa, and parts of South America. Grapes are best eaten fresh when they are juicy and sweet. Varieties can be ‘seeded’ (with pips) or ‘seedless’ (without pips).

Choose grapes that are well attached to the stem. The stem should be green and fresh.
