#BloomAtHome

Bloom may not be taking place in Phoenix Park this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t bring the Bloom experience of years past into our present. In fact, we’re bringing some of our favourite elements from the past few Blooms straight to your home! Check back daily to follow the below schedule of events, and share some of your favourite moments throughout the weekend using the hashtag #BloomAtHome

Bloom At Home

Since we can't be at Bloom this year, we thought we'd bring it to you! We'll be bringing you a mixture of throwbacks from Bloom 2019 and activities for #BloomAtHome. Take a look at our website for a list of what's to come this weekend. https://keelings.ie/bloom-at-home Do you have a question that you’d like to ask one of our growers? Send us a PM! Our grower Denis will be doing a Q&A this Monday, where he’ll answer some of them for you. #BloomAtHome #KeelingsAtBloom

Thursday, May 28th

Does all of this sunshine have you feeling especially nostalgic for Bloom? We’re here to help by bringing the Keelings Bloom experience right to your doorstep! First up on the agenda: journey through our Sensory Symphony Tunnel from last year to begin the Bloom at Home experience.

Check back tomorrow, where you’ll learn all about our Friends of the Farm!

Friday, May 29th

From ladybirds to butterflies, there is a wide range of little critters that live on the Keelings farm, and we’re celebrating all of them today for Friends of the Farm Day! Watch as we revisit last year’s Bloom, where senior strawberry grower and beekeeper Denis spoke with Ireland AM from inside our Sensory Symphony Tunnel to teach us all about the different insects on our farm. Plus, read all about the benefits of pollinators and more on the Keelings farm by reading our latest growers blog here.

Keep your eyes peeled for what we have planned for Kids Day tomorrow!

Saturday, May 30th

Today is Kids Day! Typically, we would be creating seed bombs together from our Bloom stand, but this year, it’s your turn to try it yourself! Watch to learn how, and with time, wildflowers will begin to grow and feed our pollinator friends. And while we may not be able to take a vacation ourselves just yet, our friends of the farm certainly can! Watch to see how you can make your own insect hotel to provide them with shelter no matter the weather.

Next, get your Little Growers outside to explore the back garden or a local park (at a safe distance) using our Garden Adventure card to identify local plants and insects.

After some exploring, keep the fun going by getting the garden ready for a fairy visit using materials found in the garden! Here’s some inspiration for your very own fairy garden.

Tomorrow is Food Day, so get ready to cook up a storm with some delicious Keelings recipes.

Sunday, May 31st

It’s Food Day! Celebrate with us by revisiting some of our live baking demos with Sharon Hearne-Smith from previous years at Bloom. We’ve two tasty treats for you to whip up, so follow along to make our delicious No-Bake Strawberry and White Chocolate Gâteau or our No-Bake Strawberry Charlotte.

Tomorrow is Meet the Growers Day, when senior strawberry grower and beekeeper Denis will be answering some of your questions. Head over to our Instagram or Facebook page to submit your question for Denis via private message, and he just may answer it tomorrow!

Monday, June 1st

It’s Meet the Growers Day! If you’ve had the chance to visit us at Bloom in previous years, you may have met one of our growers. If you haven’t, not to worry—throughout the day, senior strawberry grower and beekeeper Denis will be answering some of your questions on our Instagram and Facebook stories. In the meantime, watch some of Denis’ fantastic growing tips.

That’s a wrap! We hope you enjoyed Bloom at Home and maybe learned a thing or two along the way. Make sure you share your favourite bits of the Bloom at Home experience with us using the hashtag #BloomAtHome!
