Keelings Fruit Face Pancakes

1Place the flour in a large bowl and make a well in the centre.

2Add the egg and buttermilk and stir until well combined.

3Set aside for 30 minutes to rest.

4Melt half the butter in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat.

5Spoon 1/2 cup (125ml) of pancake batter in the centre of the pan.

6Cook for 2-3 minutes or until bubbles appear on the surface and the pancake is golden underneath.

7Turn and cook for a further 1-2 minutes or until golden underneath.

8Decorate your pancake face with your choice of Keelings Berries.


125g self-raising flour

1 1/2 cups (375ml) buttermilk

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla bean paste

40g butter for cooking
