Keelings Tip

For peaches, choose those with a slight softness along the seam of the fruit. For plums, a dull bloom on the skin is normal and on many varieties indicates freshness. Stone fruit that feel heavier will be juicier.

Apricots are loaded with beta-carotene. They should be eaten fresh whenever possible by those suffering from any infection particularly in the respiratory system.
