Our Growing method
Las Brisas is 1041 Hectares in size. We plant and harvest for 52 weeks of the year which is why we can grow more than 21 million pineapples a year!
It takes a full 13 months to produce one single pineapple. Costa Rica’s rainy, humid climate makes it the perfect place to grow pineapples.

The Lifetime of
a Pineapple
Pineapple plants flower 8-9 months after planting and the fruits become ready 13-14 months after planting
Tips & Tricks
The perfect pineapple should not be too soft (give it a light squeeze), it should smell aromatic (sweet & tropical) and it should be heavy in weight
Turn your pineapple upside down for 30 minutes before cutting into it – it will help the juices distribute evenly in your pineapple
Gargling fresh pineapple juice is an effective folk medicine for sore throats
